First Alert 4 partners with area organizations for Tornado Response Donation Drive

First Alert 4 has partnered with the St. Louis Area Foodbank, Jayson Tatum Foundation, Chaminade College Preparatory School and KTRS for a drive-thru donation event to those impacted by the recent tornadoes. On Saturday, May 31, a drive-thru donation event will take place at the Chaminade College Preparatory School from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
The nonprofit 100 Black Men of Metropolitan St. Louis spent time on Thursday working with Behavioral Health Response. The organizations distributed supplies and offered professional mental health to those in need.
According to police, Michael Blankenship was in the process of manufacturing homemade pyrotechnic devices when an explosion occurred on Trinity Lane. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
