Police: 1 dead in multi-car crash

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Multiple lanes of westbound Interstate 44 are closed after a deadly crash Thursday.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police, a deadly multi-car crash occurred on westbound Interstate 44 near Arsenal at around 10:40 a.m. Thursday.
Police said that investigators with the accident reconstruction team have been called to the scene, and that a person has died.
Police are asking people to avoid the area.
