ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The 2025 Ride 4 Equity stopped in St. Louis overnight.

The nonprofit Black Leaders Detroit is leading the bike ride from Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Black Wall Street, to New York City’s Wall Street. The 35-day ride is raising money to provide grants and no-interest loans to entrepreneurs of African descent.

After the group stopped in St. Louis on Sunday night, a forum was held to educate the public on the barriers and the solutions.

“We were supposed to connect with people here because there are challenges that we’re facing in Detroit, there are things that people are facing in Tulsa that mirror some of what’s happening here in St. Louis. You put a tornado on top of that to bring another level of devastation, but you also see the resilience of the people,” said Dwan Dandridge.

Another goal of the ride is to raise awareness and to explore new partnerships.
