(Gray News) – Elon Musk’s public feud with President Donald Trump is reaching new levels as Musk claimed Trump is named in the Jeffrey Epstein files.

In a post on X on Thursday afternoon, Musk wrote:

“Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!”

This post comes after Musk left his government position and Trump threatened to cut Musk’s contracts.

Trump said Thursday that he was “disappointed” in his former backer and adviser, and Musk responded on social media. Trump then escalated the feud by threatening to use the U.S. government to hurt Musk’s bottom line.

Trump wrote on his social media network, “The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts.”

This is a developing story.
