Man seen dumping dog in crate at shelter, flipping it off before driving away
DICKSON, Tenn. (WSMV/Gray News) - A humane society in Tennessee is looking for a man accused of dumping a dog on Monday night.
The Humane Society of Dickson County said the man dumped a German Shepherd in “distressing conditions” overnight.
The man reportedly arrived at the shelter in a white Ford F-150 truck with a bottomless wire crate in the truck bed. The dog was inside the crate.
“This individual pulled the crate — with the dog still inside — out of the truck and dragged it to the side of our building. They then flipped the dog off and drove away, leaving her behind in distressing conditions,” the humane society said. “This act is both heartbreaking and unacceptable.”
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call 615-446-7387.
“The dog is now safe and receiving care, but we must hold this individual able. Please share this post to help us find them. Thank you for your ,” the humane society said.
