Melissa Price Smith says she’s running for full term as St. Louis County prosecutor

CLAYTON, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Melissa Price Smith is running for a full term as St. Louis County Prosecutor, her office confirmed Monday to First Alert 4.
Price Smith was appointed county prosecutor at the beginning of the year by Missouri Gov. Mike Parson after Wesley Bell was elected to Congress. She is the first woman to be St. Louis County’s chief prosecutor.
The St. Louis County Prosecutor is elected every four years, the next election is 2026. The primary is in August before the general election is in November.
