3 sisters reported missing after leaving home for ‘planned’ visitation with father, police say

WENACHEE, Wash. (Gray News) - A search is underway for three young girls who were last seen leaving home with their father for a planned visitation last week in Washington state, according to authorities.

On Friday, 9-year-old Paityn Decker, 8-year-old Evelyn Decker, and 5-year-old Olivia Decker headed out with their dad, Travis Decker, according to the Wenatchee Police Department.

Officials said that Travis Decker “is homeless and living in his vehicle or at various hotels/motels or at campgrounds in the area.”

“The visitation was part of a parenting plan, but he has since gone outside the parameters of it which is not normal and cause for the alarm,” police said in their statement.

Since then, they have not returned and cannot be made with Travis. The girls are “believed to be missing and unable to return home on their own,” authorities said.

Paityn is described as 4 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 80 lbs., with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, purple shorts and pink Nike sneakers.

Evelyn is described as 4 feet, 4 inches tall, weighing 50 lbs., with blonde hair and brown eyes, while Olivia is 4 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 50 lbs. and has blonde hair and brown eyes.

Officers said Travis Decker, their dad, drives a 2017 white GMC Sierra pickup truck with the license plate D20165C. He is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 190 lbs., with black hair in a ponytail and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a light shirt and dark shorts.

The current investigation has not met AMBER Alert criteria, but the situation is being monitored closely. However, an Endangered Missing Person Alert has been issued through the Washington State Patrol.
