Man searching for missing AirPod gets arm stuck under train armrest
(CNN) - Firefighters in freed a man who got his arm stuck under a train armrest while trying to find his missing earbud.
The fire department was called to a train station last Friday evening following reports a enger was trapped. It turned out a man’s arm had gotten stuck under a train armrest while he was searching for a dropped AirPod.
The man’s hand swelled so much that firefighters had to use hydraulic equipment to free him. They dismantled seats and a luggage rack then sawed through the armrest.
The man was trapped for about an hour and a half before he – and his AirPods – were rescued.
Because of how long it took to free the man, the train was evacuated, and a replacement took the remaining engers onward.
