Veteran-led volunteer organization helping St. Louis recover

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A veteran-led volunteer organization is working to help St. Louis recover from the tornado two weeks ago.
Team Rubicon started mobilizing in St. Louis shortly after the storms, initially focused on meeting the needs at people’s homes, like removing a tree blocking a ramp at a home south of Forest Park. Others are helping to clear out damage at homes in the O’Fallon neighborhood.
While it’s a national organization, many volunteers are from St. Louis.
Team Rubicon focuses on helping the elderly, disabled and those without insurance. They also helped St. Louis during the historic flooding in 2022.
