IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG/Gray News) – Despite being landlocked, residents in one Iowa community caught a glimpse of a massive shark this week.
Iowa City artist Carlos Maldonado had some fun in the snow, sculpting a 20-foot-long great white shark.

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Maldonado shared pictures of the shark saying, the mouth is 5.5 feet tall, and the tail and back fins are about 4 to 4.5 feet tall.
People in the area can see the artist’s work on North Summit Street in Iowa City until the snow melts.
