FEMA assessing damage to public buildings, infrastructure in St. Louis

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is examining public assets such as recreation centers, police stations, and firehouses impacted by the May 16 tornado.
The nonprofit 100 Black Men of Metropolitan St. Louis spent time on Thursday working with Behavioral Health Response. The organizations distributed supplies and offered professional mental health to those in need.
According to police, Michael Blankenship was in the process of manufacturing homemade pyrotechnic devices when an explosion occurred on Trinity Lane. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
