Ameren Corporation announced it will make a $1 million donation to assist in recovery efforts from the powerful storms and tornado that struck the St. Louis metropolitan region and surrounding areas on Friday, May 16.

On Thursday Gov. Mike Kehoe said he would provide a Liaison Officer to assist the City of St. Louis while evaluating and advising officials on potential missions for the National Guard.
