Michael Warrick

Michael Warrick ed the WBTV news team in September 2024, bringing nearly a decade's worth of experience to the WBTV newsroom. 2ez4z

He previously worked as a reporter at WSMV in Nashville, Tn., helping cover several major events that made national headlines. He's always prided himself on bringing awareness to local problems, and helping people find solutions.

An Atlanta-native, Michael also worked at news stations in Mobile, Al, and Macon, Ga.

For much of his career, he's worked as a 'one-man-band' reporter - shooting, writing and editing his own stories.

A graduate of Georgia College & State University, Michael is a sports and music buff, but he can't play an instrument (or a sport) very well. That said, he did run cross country and track all four years in college.

Michael is thrilled to be here in Charlotte and contribute to the long tradition of exceptional news coverage at WBTV.

If you have a story tip, send him an email at [email protected].
