Since moving to Lubbock in 2014, Brandon has covered Texas Tech Athletics and local sports.

He started his journalism career with the student-publication The Daily Toreador. From there, he has covered games and events for The Dallas Morning News, Associated Press and then spent years with RedRaiderSports.com.

Brandon graduated from Texas Tech University with his Bachelor's degree in Journalism with a minor in electronic media communications.
