Man shot, killed in Penrose Sunday evening

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in the Penrose Neighborhood Sunday evening.
According to SLMPD, the shooting took place around 8:15 p.m. Officers responded and found a man with a gunshot wound lying in an alley behind the 4800 block of Kossuth.
EMS pronounced him dead on scene.
An investigation into the incident is active at this time.
