ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The Lake Saint Louis Fire Protection District is working to protect homes Friday after a large water main break.
The protection district reported the break in a social media post just before 9:30 p.m. They say the break is in the 1100 block of Charlemagne Drive.
Firefighters are working to pump water off the road to protect homes in the area.
The Lake Saint Louis Police Department said the water flow has been shut off and will likely stay shut off for several hours. The police department said residents in the area can expect a water boil advisory once the main is fixed and water is turned back on.
The road is imable and firefighters ask people to avoid the area.
