ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A family forever changed on Mother’s Day is now sharing their story and continued fear.

Jorre Hadley, 24, was shot and killed in a car on Maffitt Avenue. Police are still looking for a man wanted in the case; they say he is armed and dangerous.

It’s been seven days since police released the photos of De’andre Miller.

“The past seven days have been the longest seven days I’ve ever lived,” said Janiya, Hadley’s younger sister.

Janiya and Jaidynn are Jorre Hadley’s younger sisters say time has stood still since the day they lost their big sister.

“It’s devastating, it’s hard, and it will never get better,” said Jaidynn.

Four days after she was killed, police released the photos of the man they believe pulled the trigger.

“I feel like I’m not going to get any justice until he’s caught,” said Janiya.

Jorre Hadley was shot to death on Mother’s Day, hours after she attended a church service with her son. It was also her late mother’s birthday.

Hadley was only a few miles away from home when police found her inside a car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Jaidynn says she was in the backseat with her 3-year-old nephew, Jorre’s son, during the shooting. They watched as she took her last breath.

“I saw her get shot in the head and die instantly. It was horrible. It’s not something anyone would want to see or keep in their mind, and my nephew was in the back seat too,” said Jaidynn.

According to the family, De’andre Miller is the son’s father. They tell First Alert 4, Jorre moved away for college and returned to St. Louis after her mother died to help take care of her seven siblings.

“She did everything you can ask a big sister to do and more,” said Jaidynn.

“Our whole family is ruined in a way because she was our foundation,” said Janiya.

Now, Jorre’s younger sisters are calling on SLMPD to find Miller so they can sleep at night.

“I’m not going to be okay until I know I don’t have to watch over myself every five minutes, looking, paranoid...”

Police are asking anyone with information about De’andre Miller’s whereabouts to CrimeStoppers.

A fundraiser has been created to raise money for Jorre’s three-year-old son. The link to donate can be found here.
