Major expansion coming to St. Elizabeth Hospital

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A major expansion is coming to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, Illinois.

Construction begins this summer on the 70,000-square-foot building, which will include a new surgical center, medical office building and other hospital renovations.

This week, city officials approved parking around the new three-story facility, adding 1,500 spaces.

Hospital leaders say the $50 million investment will help meet growing demand and bring specialty care to St. Louis patients.
