Ferguson-Florissant School District announces new superintendent
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A new superintendent for the Ferguson-Florissant School District has been announced.
Dr. Howard E. Fields III has been announced as the new superintendent for the school district. Fields’ contract will begin July 1.
Fields is currently working as the assistant superintendent of human resources for the Kirkwood School District. However, Fields started his career as a student teacher at the Ferguson-Florissant School District.
Fields has almost 20 years of experience in public education, working at multiple locations across the St. Louis area.
The search for a new superintendent included input from students, staff, families, and district residents. In the coming weeks, family and staff of the school and community will be able to meet Fields.
The Ferguson-Florissant School District released a message from Dr. Fields, which can be watched on the district’s YouTube channel.
