United Way gives volunteer opportunities to help clean up St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - The United Way of Greater St. Louis has connected more than 2,700 people to volunteer opportunities in the city Wednesday.

This drive-up distribution event was held at CareSTL’s MLK drive location. One group of 50 volunteers handed out hygiene kits and clean-up kits to those impacted by the tornado.

Another group of volunteers worked to clean up debris at another Care STL site, which was damaged in the storm. Some of the volunteers we talked to have taken off work all week to help their neighbors.
