(Gray News) - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission is warning consumers to immediately stop using a brand of infant swings due to suffocation hazard.

The Queerick Infant Swings were sold online on Amazon from October 2023 through November 2024 for between $100 to $220 as model “WS-HB18.”

The swings were marketed for infant sleep and have an incline angle greater than 10 degrees, which is in violation of the Safe Sleep for Babies Act and the Federal Infant Sleep Products Rule.

The SC also says the swings fail to meet mandatory warning requirements for infant swings and how they can cause death or serious injury to infants.

The swings also violate the mandatory federal regulations for consumer products containing button cell and coin batteries.

The SC urges consumers to stop using the infant swings immediately and dispose of them. Any battery inside the remotes should be disposed of or recycled following local hazardous waste procedures.

The SC also encourages families to not sell or give away these hazardous infant swings.

Consumers can report any incidents involving injury or product defect to SC at www.SaferProducts.gov.
