RUSSELL COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT/Gray News) - A 93-year-old woman died from carbon monoxide poisoning on Saturday in Kentucky, according to authorities.

Russell County Coroner Mark Coots said Debra Edelman was pronounced dead Saturday afternoon in Jamestown, Kentucky.
Edelman’s death appears to be connected to carbon monoxide poisoning from using a generator during a power outage during severe weather on Friday.
Coots said the generator had not been turned on for more than a year and put out “bad air.”
Edelman’s death is under investigation.
