Man gets stabbed after stealing phone

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man was stabbed after stealing another man’s girlfriend’s phone in St. Louis County.
According to a release, Raeshaun Johnson, 22, of East St. Louis, has been charged with First Degree Assault or Attempt – Serious Physical Injury or Special Victim and Armed Criminal Action.
St. Louis County Police say on May 19, Johnson was in the 100 block of Concord Plaza, waiting as his girlfriend was giving plasma.
A man approached and took Johnson’s girlfriend’s cell phone from his lap. Johnson followed the man to the parking lot, where they fought.
During the fight, police say Johnson produced a knife and stabbed the victim several times in the back and wrist.
Police responded to the scene, and both were arrested. Johsnon was transported to an area hospital with a bloody nose and mouth, and the victim was transported to an area hospital.
Johnson itted to fighting the victim, producing a knife, and stabbing him. He is being held on $100,000, cash only, no 10% bond.
