Fredbird nominated for induction into Mascot Hall of Fame

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Fredbird has been announced as a nominee to be inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame.

Fans should vote for the Cardinals’ mascot once per day, with the same email address, all the way through Saturday, May 24. The 2025 inductees will be announced in June.

Fredbird has been the Cardinals’ mascot since 1979. He has performed at more than 3,600 regular-season games and been to seven World Series. He was a part of the World Series Championships in 1982, 2006, and 2011.

Fredbird was also a co-host on Cardinals Kids, with broadcaster Brad Thompson. He was inducted into the St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame in 2018.
