KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Missouri homeschool students could soon have the opportunity to compete on the same teams as the public school in their district.
Missouri Senate Bill 63 ed the Senate on Thursday shortly after getting its approval in the Missouri House.
The school district would also be able to establish an attendance policy or require instruction connected to their participation in a particular activity.
The bill’s sponsor, Sen. Ben Brown (R-Washington), posted to social media his excitement with the bill advancing through both legislative houses.
