Woman accused of severely burning boyfriend with hot chicken grease, police say

LAGRANGE, Ga. (WANF/Gray News) - A woman was arrested after allegedly burning her boyfriend with hot chicken grease during an argument on Tuesday.
According to LaGrange Police, they responded to a domestic dispute at a Stay Lodge in LaGrange, Georgia, on Tuesday.
Officers found a 46-year-old man with severe burns to the back of his head, neck, back and shoulders.
The man’s girlfriend, 43-year-old Olympia Laster, allegedly threw a pot of hot chicken grease on the man while he was sitting in a chair during an argument.
He was taken to a hospital in Atlanta that is “capable of burn treatment,” according to police.
Laster was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
