(InvestigateTV) — Arizona law enforcement is sounding the alarm after residents lost millions of dollars to a fast-growing Bitcoin ATM scam.

Criminals are tricking victims into depositing cash into cryptocurrency machines under the guise of fake government threats, utility shutoffs, or tech issues, then vanishing with the funds.

Officials say these scams are becoming more frequent and more convincing.
