Indie Bookstore Day is Saturday and the St. Louis area has some great options
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Every day is a great time to celebrate independent bookstores, but Saturday will feature an annual nationwide event to recognize hometown proprietors of the written word.
The last Saturday in April is Independent Bookstore Day and St. Louis has some great offerings.
Main Street Books in St. Charles is taking a page out of a childhood classic and hiding a Golden Ticket somewhere in the store for a lucky reader to find. The winner will receive a year of audiobooks.
Left Bank Books in the Central West End is offering 30% off and also a Golden Ticket search.
The Book House in Maplewood is giving away free merchandise celebrating Indie Bookstore Day and giving away special editions. And at N.P. Junction Books in Clayton, giveaways and other events are planned throughout the day.
