CITY adds 2 forwards on short-term agreements ahead of Sunday night match

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - St. Louis CITY SC has added two forwards to the roster ahead of Sunday’s match against the Columbus Crew.
CITY has signed Brendan McSorley on a short-term loan from CITY2, and Mykhi Joyner has been called up through his Homegrown Player contract.
These moves come as CITY is plagued with injuries. The MLS injury report lists Rasmus Alm, Roman Bürki, Chris Durkin, Jannes Horn, Joakim Nilsson, Jay Reid and Tomas Totland as out with injuries. Eduard Löwen is also listed as unavailable for Sunday’s match for a non-specified non-injury reason.
McSorley, on his short-term loan, can be named to four matchday rosters and can appear in up to two regular-season matches. Joyner, on his short-term call-up, can be included in up to six regular-season matchday rosters per season.
CITY SC plays the Columbus Crew on Sunday at 6 p.m. at Energizer Park.
