(InvestigateTV) — If you’re a parent, you know it can be stressful, but health experts say the pressure parents are under now needs to be addressed.

From financial strain to rapidly changing technology, the U.S. Surgeon General reports parents are having a tough time with the evolving demands, and those stressors can be more difficult to handle when feeling lonely, which more than half of parents report feeling.

In order to combat isolation, more groups for moms and dads to share their experiences are forming across the country.

Reporter Nora Hart shows us how parents are inspiring connection in Portland, Oregon.
