Cardinals announce new fan engagement initiative to bring ‘party atmosphere’ to Friday night home games
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Matrix Midwest) - The St. Louis Cardinals announced a new initiative called “Friday Night Live,” which aims to bring a more festive vibe and party atmosphere to the ballpark experience during Friday night home games.
According to a release, the new initiative will start on Friday, April 11 when the Cardinals face the Phillies.
The new concept will primarily focus on live music and happy hour-priced food and beverage specials in Budweiser Terrace, with Busch Stadium’s first-ever in-house disc jockey, DJ Deks, set to spin music for the entire ballpark from the time gates open to the end of the first inning every Friday.
In addition to $5 draft beers that will be available every game at the Crown Bar, the club will also begin offering $6 margaritas on the rocks and freshly grilled $5 hot dogs exclusively in Budweiser Terrace.
Cardinals players and coaches will be wearing their red Nike City Connect uniforms that were introduced last season exclusively for all 12 Friday home dates in 2025.
“We’re excited to introduce our new Friday Night Live concept at the ballpark this season,” said Anuk Karunaratne, Senior Vice President of Business Operations. “Friday nights will have a different feel at the ballpark with a livelier atmosphere that will be the perfect place for fans to kick off the weekend all season long.”
Friday Night Live at Busch Stadium features matchups against the Cubs, Dodgers, Yankees, Padres, Phillies, and more.
