Chain of Rocks Bridge 6K raises money for young athletes

CHOUTEAU ISLAND, Ill. (First Alert 4) - A rainy morning didn’t stop runners heading to The Mother Road to pound the pavement for a good cause.
The Chain of Rocks Bridge 6K took runners across the historic span over the Mississippi River and along historic Route 66 to raise money for young athletes.
Proceeds from this year’s run will be donated to the Jackie er-Kersee Foundation.
