Backstory STL #5: Erica Williams

ST. LOUIS (First Alert 4) -- This week’s guest on Backstory STL is Erica Williams, a nonprofit leader making her community healthier through food.
She changed her career as a paralegal to start an organization called “A Red Circle,” which looks to change the current layout of food deserts in north St. Louis County.
She was inspired to make a positive impact on her community after the death of Micheal Brown Jr. in Ferguson. Years later, A Red Circle is close to opening a community grocery store as it focuses on creating a healthier community.
