4YOU: How Prevent+Ed leads to conversation & aims to save lives
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Prevent+Ed focuses on leading the conversation with an aim of saving lives.
“When an individual or a loved one might be struggling with substance use, we can help really navigate what resources make sense for them,” explained Jenny Armbruster, executive director of Prevent+Ed.
The organization connects those struggling with drugs or alcohol with the help right for them.
Vika Greer is a peer specialist with Prevent+Ed. She knows how difficult it is to end the cycle.
“If I can do it, you definitely can do it,” she said. “It’s not too late to get clean at all.”
Prevent+Ed offers a lifeline to those who need a helping hand in the fight for their life.
On March 13, First Alert 4 will hold a Day of Giving to benefit Prevent+Ed.
