1 dead in crash on I-55

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - One person was killed in a crash on Interstate 55 near Butler Hill Road in St. Louis County.
The crash closed the northbound lanes of the interstate around 10:35 a.m. Tuesday. The road was closed for several hours while first responders were on the scene.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol told First Alert 4 that the crash involved two vehicles, and at least two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. One person was later pronounced dead.
