The Chiefs can accomplish that feat with a Nov. 29 win over the Las Vegas Raiders and either a Miami Dolphins loss on Thanksgiving Day against the Green Bay Packers, or a Denver Broncos loss on Monday against the Cleveland Browns.

Thursday night, the Packers defeated the Dolphins 30-17 at Lambeau Field.

The Chiefs improved to 10-1 with their Sunday win over the Panthers.

The Chiefs (10-1) remain a game ahead of the Buffalo Bills in the race for the No. 1 seed. The Bills can clinch a playoff spot with a win on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers and a Dolphins loss.
