Chiefs rule Smith-Schuster out for matchup against Broncos

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Chiefs will once again be without wide receiver Juju Smith-Schuster for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos.
The Chiefs ruled Smith-Schuster out with a hamstring injury that originated in practice leading up to a Week 7 game against the San Francisco 49ers. Smith-Schuster played briefly in the 49ers game before exiting with the injury. He’s since missed the last two games and will miss a third straight on Sunday.
Defensive lineman Tershawn Wharton was injured in Monday night’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers but returned to play. He did not participate in either of Kansas City’s Wednesday or Thursday practices and was limited in Friday’s, according to the Chiefs.
