Kehoe beats Quade to win race for Missouri Governor

Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe is moving up to the top job in Missouri state government.

JEFFERSON CITY (First Alert 4) – Lt. Gov. Mike Kehoe is moving up to the top job in Missouri state government.

Kehoe defeated the Democratic nominee, Missouri House Minority Leader Crystal Quade, on Tuesday night.

Kehoe has served as Lt. Governor since 2018, when he was appointed by Gov. Parson. Kehoe then was elected to a full term as Lt. Governor in 2020.

The GOP has now occupied the governor’s mansion since 2017.
