ST. LOUIS COUNTY (First Alert 4) – Attorney Dave Wasinger has won the GOP nomination for Lt. Governor of Missouri.
Wasinger, who is a partner at a Brentwood law firm, defeated State Sen. Holly Rehder, State Senator Lincoln Hough and several other candidates.
The Lt. Governor becomes governor if the governor resigns, dies or is impeached and removed from office. The Lt. Governor also casts tie-breaking votes in the State Senate and sits on different boards.
Wasinger will be heavily favored in the general election in November.
