COLUMBIA, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Andrew Bailey has won the Republican primary for Missouri Attorney General.

Bailey defeated attorney Will Scharf on Tuesday.

Bailey has served as Attorney General since 2023. He was appointed by Gov. Mike Parson after Eric Schmitt was elected to the US Senate. Bailey will be heavily favored to win the general election in November.
