Video captures brawl inside Florissant CVS
FLORISSANT, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Florissant police arrested three people following a fight inside a CVS Pharmacy on Lindbergh Friday.
“I didn’t expect that at all, especially not on Lindbergh,” said John Smith.
Smith says he saw women fighting at the check-out, including a CVS worker and customers. The women are seen throwing fists in the video Smith shot Friday night while he was picking up medicine.
Florissant police say they were called out and arrested those involved.
“I hope they make better choices in the future,” said Smith. “I hope the right people see it and get the right message from it like workplace and fights, it don’t mix.”
Lena Chapman is a licensed professional counselor and says we could see more fights like this.
“A lot of people are under so much stress and anxiety right now, they’re at their breaking point. When we get in situations when there’s disagreements and things of that nature, we tend to do exactly what we are feeding our minds and our bodies, which is those negative things.”
Chapman recommends being careful what we consume by censoring what we watch. She says even watching videos like this one impacts how we react to our own situations.
Smith says he’s glad he recorded the video so there’s evidence of what happened and wants people to make better choices.
