ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - Saint Louis University is parting ways with men’s basketball coach Travis Ford, the school announced Wednesday night.

Multiple outlets initially reported the news after the Billikens were knocked out of the Atlantic 10 conference tournament with an 83-73 loss to Duquesne. A short time later, the university made the official announcement. The move was widely expected.

Ford spent eight seasons in Midtown and compiled a 146-109 record. He took the Billikens to the NCAA Tournament in 2019.

The Billikens finished the 2023-2024 season with a 13-20 record,
