Bakery takes 100+ orders for Jason Kelce cookie cakes
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV/Gray News) – Jason Kelce quickly went viral last weekend for cheering on his brother and the Kansas City Chiefs.
But the memes of Kelce shirtless in the stands have turned into something else: cookie cakes.
Eileen’s Cookies in Liberty, Missouri – just outside of Kansas City – has more than 100 cookie cake orders to fill ahead of Saturday that feature Kelce with his shirt off.
Store manager and designer Hannah Stumpner said she was inspired to create the design after last Sunday’s game against the Buffalo Bills.
“I did not expect chest hair to be so appetizing,” Stumpner said. “At this point, we stopped officially taking orders because it’s crazy, it’s crazy.”
Store owner Kristen Uhlman told KCTV she dropped off some cookies for the Chiefs themselves, including a Jason Kelce cookie cake to Travis Kelce. The hope is he’ll share it with his older brother.
“That way he can have a little piece of himself,” Stumpner said.
